Sam Blackwell, MS

Hi, I’m Sam! I am a master’s-level clinician with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in School Adjustment Counseling. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in educational, clinical, and community settings, including as a special education teacher, paraprofessional, and clinician supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.

During my clinical internship, I worked in a therapeutic behavioral program serving children who had experienced trauma and significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. I am passionate about helping children and adolescents build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and thrive both in and out of school.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools they need to build confidence, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change.
