“Kristen Kocot gives hope and healing to TBI survivors and to their loved ones. By creating an individualized care plan, Kristen uses a common sense approach and keen, calm insight. She recognizes a TBI survivor’s cadences, triggers, hobbies, talents etc. and capitalizes on their positive qualities. Likewise, she addresses the loved ones as an integral part of healing. Her ability for success is highly adept and seemingly easy. Yet it is her thorough regard for the individual and her compassion for them and for their loved ones, their lives, their stories, their dreams that fuel her and make her a dedicated advocate. We are living proof that one can live with a TBI and be a member of a family, a community, our world and to do so with humor, music, intelligence, creativity, compassion, honor, dignity and grace…and freedom. Never give up” – “J & J” 2014

“My husband and I met Kristen when our family member was accepted at Vibra Hospital in Springfield, MA. After a four year battle of never ending “hospital dumping” we were going in with the attitude that this stay would also be short lived. We were so tired and felt defeated. We didn’t even know what we were fighting for any more. Kristen and her staff not only said the words but actually performed the actions and took it from there. We found peace for the first time, we slept for the first time in four years. They handled him, the right way, we didn’t fear him getting hurt in the process for the first time, ever. He improved. He was finally given the tools he needed as an individual to succeed and move forward. I can’t put into words how well Kristen worked with us to advocate for Jeff and what she proposed with her staff to bring Jeff to where he is today. Jeff is moving into a group home on May 14th 2014….Thank you Kristen. Never would this have ever happened without you. We will never be able to thank you enough. You did what no one else could do on the entire East coast! That’s an accomplishment!”- Claudia and Steve Benetti

“Kristen and I have been colleagues since 2010 as we were both Directors of Neurorehabilitation programs and I was consistently impressed with her level of expertise in working with individuals with complex challenges. I often relied on her counsel to assist me in developing strategies for my own clients and found her to be particularly respectful of clients’ wishes and ever hopeful for their recovery. She also has a working knowledge of regulatory requirements and strategies to reduce risk and increase safety while maintaining a focus on individual rights and preferences.” – Lisa Forhan, MPPA
